Will You Come With Me And See?

~~

Out in the starlight desert,

they say angels came to sing.

They say a child born today,

will soon change everything.

Who could this Infant be?

Will you come with me and see?

~~

They say the child we went to see,

has grown as children do;

that He is kind to everyone,

and all He teaches us is true.

Who could this teacher be?

Will you come with me and see?

~~

They say He is the son of God,

Who’s come on Earth to live;

that He has power to heal us,

and power to forgive.

Who could this healer be?

Will you come with me and see?

~~

They say that in a garden

He has rescued us from sin and pain,

that after death He raised Himself,

so we will live again.

Who could this Savior be?

Will you come with me and see?

Our Shepherd

~~

In the shadows of the evening, there’s a baby now asleep.

Born to be a shepherd to His father’s little sheep.

He’ll show us how to live our lives inside the narrow way.

He’ll help us find our way back home, every time we stray.

Born to bring us peace. Born to bring us joy.

He brings hope to every little girl and boy.

~~

In the early light of morning, there’s a baby now awake.

Soon, all our illness’s and troubles he will take.

Until then, as a child, he will laugh and run and play.

Then, He’ll live among us, while He teaches us each day.

Born to bring us peace. Born to bring us joy.

He brings hope to every little girl and boy.

~~

In the beauty of a garden, there’s a man now knelt in prayer.

He’s praying to His Father, for all people everywhere.

He says He’s willing to atone, for all our sins and pain.

After death He’ll raise himself, so we’ll all live again.

Born to bring us peace. Born to bring us joy.

He brings hope to every little girl and boy.
